Poor posture can lead to lots of unpleased things like:
- Pain in neck, back and shoulders
- Impede the ability of the lungs to expand
- Lordosis, Kyphosis, and Scoliosis

Once you understand and achieve a better posture (neutral positioning), it is your job to try and keep this posture throughout the day, which is hard because it takes conscious awareness and focus. When your attention is elsewhere (work tasks, on the teacher, social networks, etc.), posture is often the first thing to become compromised.
